Question Slot Layout
Your episode has 11 question slots (positions 0–9, then 11). Slot 2 is always DisOrDat, slot 11 is always JackAttack. The rest are Shorties, but one slot can optionally be a PlayersChoice. Below, configure non-obvious slots.
Slots 0,1,3,4,5,7,8,9 will use Shortie IDs you define in the next steps. IDs are assigned in order: slot 0 → first Shortie, slot 1 → second, etc.
Voice & Recording Setup
Pick how lines actually get turned into audio files. These are two genuinely different workflows — pick one per recording session.
Recording Mode
TTS Loopback mode: the page speaks each line out loud using your browser's text-to-speech, and records it from a loopback / virtual audio input — not your physical microphone. This is the only way to get a clean TTS recording with no room echo or double-audio. You need a virtual loopback device:
Windows: enable "Stereo Mix" in Sound settings, or install VB-Cable.
macOS: install BlackHole or Loopback (Rogue Amoeba).
Linux: use a PulseAudio/PipeWire monitor source.
Then select that device — not your real mic — in "Recording Input" below.

Install Instructions: Unzip the downloaded file. Copy the content/ folder into your YDKJ game directory, merging with the existing content folder. The episode skeleton entry also needs to be merged into YDKJEpisodeSkeleton.jet — the ZIP includes a MERGE_INSTRUCTIONS.txt explaining exactly what to do.
